A hidden gem. We went as a family of 3 & the food, atmosphere, location & staff were brilliant. Hot & hearty portions which were presented well. One of the female staff brought a Christmas colouring sheet over for our LG which I thought was nice. The Tutti Frutti gin was yummy too They have tribute nights too which we are very interested in Will definitely return. Lovely place.

Arrived for afternoon tea to celebrate my Granddaughters 10th birthday with 4 others but unfortunately, we were booked on the 18th December, oops I must have had a senior moment. So instead of turning us away, they made a space for us & made us very welcome. The kitchen had to arrange the afternoon teas which were delicious and good value. The girls changed their minds & had something hot from the menu but this didn't phase anyone. The staff member looking after us even found some balloons so we could take photos, such a thoughtful thing to do. All the staff were brilliant & made it a special afternoon for all of us, so thanks to all.

Lovely place for breakfast, lunch or evening meal. It's just reopened under new management, so I popped in for a breakfast on the first day. Food was excellent and it's in a beautiful spot by the canal and National Waterways museum. There's seating indoors and outside. Perfect place to walk along the canal and then have a coffee and snack here. I noticed people sitting outside with their dogs.

Really nice place, with multiple lovely views to pick from and awesome staff. Technically there were some problems (late food delivery meaning some dishes were not on, chef apparently walked out without warning), but these were dealt with so well that they actually add to my five star rating. The manager took everything in her stride and got people's meals out so fast you wouldn't believe there had ever been anything wrong. Food was also yum. The salt and pepper chicken burger is tasty, and much more innovative in execution than you might expect from a seaside pub/cafe.

We love this little jewel for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Never disappointed. Staff friendly and go beyond service The tribute nights are so good. Come for a coffee or ice cream to watch the tugs on the Manchester ship canal.
